Babbel - Duo won't leave cheaply

Hertha Berlin boss Markus Babbel says only a 'lucrative' offer would see Gojko Kacar or Adrian Ramos leave.

Kacar and Ramos part of Babbel's plans

Hertha Berlin manager Markus Babbel insists only a 'lucrative' offer would prise either Gojko Kacar or Adrian Ramos away from the club. Hertha will be plying their trade in Bundesliga 2 this season for the first time in 14 years after a disastrous campaign saw them finish bottom of the Bundesliga last term. Inevitably the club's top players have attracted interest from other parties, with Kacar and Ramos in particular linked with an exit from the Olympic Stadium. Serbia international Kacar is reportedly the subject of a £4.5million bid from Hamburg, while Ramos has been linked with a move to Hoffenheim. Both men are under contract and former Liverpool defender Babbel is keen for the duo to stay in the German capital. "Both players, Gojko Kacar and Adrian Ramos, are fully part of our plans for the new season, there is no doubt," Babbel told German newspaper Berliner Zeitung. "But if there were to be a very lucrative offer dropping in (for any of these two players), the chances would be that the club management could end up with a different viewpoint on keeping or selling them."
