Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa is set to miss the UEFA Champions League clash with Arsenal later in the month.
The Ukrainian champions travel to the Emirates on 19th October to face the Gunners but may have to do without the 20-year-old Brazil international.
Costa has been sidelined for two weeks with a thigh injury picked up in Sunday's 2-0 win over rivals Dynamo Kiev.
A statement on the club's official website said: "The injury is expected to keep the player out of action for two weeks."
The former Gremio man scored in Shakhtar's 3-0 win over Portuguese runners-up Braga in last week's Champions League match, but is now a dout for his side's next Group H clash.
He has also been forced to pull out of the Brazil squad for the upcoming friendlies against Iran and Ukraine.
