New Genoa signing wants Champions League football

Genoa new boy Rafinha has set his sights on UEFA Champions League qualification this season. Gian Piero Gasperini's side only finished ninth in Serie A last term but they have been catching the eye with some impressive transfer dealings over the summer. Portuguese duo Eduardo and Miguel Veloso are among those to have joined in recent weeks, while Luca Toni has also arrived to bolster the attack. Brazilian full-back Rafinha linked up with the club from Schalke last Wednesday and believes a top-four finish is realistic. "I didn't just come here to play in Serie A, but also to get back into the Champions League, a competition I took part in three times with Schalke," he told the Italian press. "We have a good squad and I think we can achieve this objective."
