Boca Juniors' attacking midfielder Federico Insua could be on the verge of a move to Schalke.
Boca president Mauricio Macri is currently in Germany holding talks with the Bundesliga outfit.
Schalke are reportedly willing to offer é¼3 million (£2 million) for the 26-year-old schemer.
Although Insua has consistently stated he is happy at Boca, the South American club are keen to cash in on the star.
The likes of Galatasaray and Borussia Dortmund have been tracking his services, but it appears Schalke will win the race for his signature.
