Hoffenheim captain Andreas Beck has revealed he would never rule out a move to a Russian club in the future.
The German international, who was originally born in Russia, has said he could not rule out the prospect of making a return to his home country in the future.
However, he disclosed that he was in talks with the German club over a new contract.
The 26-year-old full-back has been ever present for Hoffenheim making appearances in all 20 league games for the side.
In an interview with BILD, he said: It's a fact I have got Russian roots and it could be a n interesting thing to play in that league one day.
"I am unable to make a prediction on this. Actually, I am in talks with Hoffenheim (about a new deal).
"All I am able to say is these talks won't be concluded soon."
