Premier League clubs to watch striker against England

Sky Sports understands a number of Premier League clubs are set to watch Norway striker Mohammed Abdellaoue in action against England this weekend. Hannover striker Abdellaoue is set to lead the attack for Norway in this weekend's friendly with Roy Hodgson's men in Oslo. The 26-year-old has impressed for club and country over the last couple of years and his form has not gone unnoticed among a number of Premier League clubs. Abdellaoue netted 16 goals in all competitions for Hannover this season and he has scored five times in 19 appearances for Norway. The striker has been on the radar of a number of teams for a couple of years and his suitors are set to cast an eye over him against England as they weigh up bids for him in the summer.

Fantastic season

Hannover are reluctant to lose the former Valerenga man, but know they would face a massive battle to keep hold of him if any of his Premier League suitors come calling. Abdellaoue's agent, Stig Lillejord, admits interest is mounting in the player ahead of this summer's transfer window. "I know there are a lot of clubs across Europe interested in Moa, including several from the Premier League," Lillejord told Sky Sports. "Moa has enjoyed another fantastic season with Hannover and I believe a lot of clubs will watch him in action for Norway against England this weekend. "We will see what happens in this summer's transfer window regards Moa."
