Ryan Babel has threatened to quit Hoffenheim in the future over his frustration at the club's poor form.
The former Liverpool forward is under contract at Rhein-Neckar-Arena until the summer of 2013 with an option for an additional year having moved to Germany in January 2011.
But he is unhappy at Hoffenheim's run of two wins in 15 games and last weekend's 7-1 humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich leaves the club sitting 12th in the Bundesliga.
The Dutchman, who has scored just four goals in 24 games and was in November the target of criticism from team-mates, is pleased with his form, but he thinks he is being let down.
Problems
Babel told
Sport1: "At the moment, we are playing football like we are confused.
"Personally, I have managed to improve since being at this club.
"But when you are playing for a team that has some problems, then it is tough to generally impress individually.
"Football is a fast moving business. It is possible that I may play for some other team in the future.
"I am hoping to see us achieve our goals here. If not, I have to very much consider my career."
