Ochs agrees Easy-Credit-Stadion deal until end of the season

Nurnberg have signed free agent goalkeeper Timo Ochs until the end of the season in a bid to solve their injury problems. The mid-table Bundesliga outfit have seen Daniel Batz and Daniel Klewer suffer from injuries and have therefore ensured that there is back-up at Easy-Credit-Stadion. Ochs was identified as a suitable signing, with the 29-year-old having left Hertha Berlin in the summer when his contract was not renewed after the club's relegation. Nurnberg manager Dieter Hecking told Deutsche Presseagentur: "Due to the injuries to Daniel Batz and Daniel Klewer, we felt it would be too risky not to have a third goalkeeper before the second half of the season. "Timo Ochs is an experienced shot-stopper and he has also agreed to play for the reserves."
