Wolfsburg striker pays fine

Wolfsburg boss Armin Veh insists that the dispute between him and star striker Grafite has been resolved. The Brazilian slammed Veh after he was substituted in the recent match with Bochum. Now Veh admits that the issue has been resolved after Grafite apologised and paid a fine, which will be donated to charity. "Every player has the right to speak his mind, I am not going to muzzle somebody at any time," Veh told Wolfsburger Nachrichten. "Still the players do not have to forget football is a team sport and no sport for individuals. "Graffa' (Grafite) scored a lot of goals last season and he is feeling a kind of pressure now. "He was unhappy and right after a match it is well a chance that feelings are running high. "He has apologised and agreed to pay a fine to go to a good cause. "That's fine as that money is now having a good effect. It's better to see that going for a good cause than into the team box." It is reported Grafite will pay £9,000 to the "Ein Herz für Kinder" child aid organization.
