Striker admits discussions have been unsuccessful

Hertha Berlin striker Marko Pantelic is unlikely to extend his current contract at the Olympia Stadion. The Serbia international has been involved in talks with Hertha for several weeks but now admits that they are far from reaching an agreement. Pantelic scored 13 Bundesliga goals as Hertha struggled for most of last season, but he has fallen out with general manager Dieter Hoeness over his commitment to the cause. "There is hardly any chance of me staying," Pantelic told Bild. "We are simply far too far apart in what we want. "The probability of me extending my contract is about 20 per cent, or rather 10 per cent."
