Energie Cottbus remain rooted to foot of the Bundesliga table despite a surprise 1-0 win over Schalke.
Bojan Prasnikar's side began the day without a league success from their opening 11 contests.
With Schalke having lost only one of their Bundesliga games, an away win looked on the cards.
However, Cottbus failed to follow the script and they secured the priceless three-point haul thanks to Christian Bassila's 46th minute effort.
The win moves Cottbus to within a point of Nurnberg, Bochum and Duisburg, while Schalke remain fifth in the table.
