Bundesliga club SC Freiburg have taken Spanish full-back Fernando Vega and American defender Perry Kitchen on trial.
USA Under-20 international Kitchen has just completed the MLS season with Washington-based club DC United.
He is joined at the badenova-Stadion by free agent Vega, who was released by La Liga side Real Betis at the end of last season.
Speaking of the Vega deal, Freiburg media spokesman Rudi Raschke said: "I am able to confirm Fernando Vega has arrived for training, he is to undergo a trial at our club.
"He will have the first training of his trial spell with the first-team squad on Tuesday."
