Lippi: Only fit players will play

By Nadia Carminati
Marcello Lippi says only players who are fit will be included in Juventus' line-up when they take on Parma on Sunday.

The Bianconeri rested several stars for the record UEFA Champions League win against Olympiakos and he says only players who have looked fresh in training will take on Parma.

"In the last few days I have seen the team looking really positive," affirmed Lippi.

"There are a few players in really good physical condition and for this reason they will surely line up against Parma.

"After the Internazionale defeat, I decided to avoid changing players so it didn't look like I was trying to find scapegoats.

"Everyone must consider themselves in with a chance, but at the moment I prefer to include whoever feels right."

The Turin boss' words have started rumours that Marco Di Vaio and Fabrizio Miccoli are set to start up front, with Alessandro Del Piero due to be named on the bench.

French pair David Trezeguet and Lilian Thuram are definitely out of the clash with injury, but Pavel Nedved is expected to play some part.
