Chievo have quashed rumours linking Franco Semioli with a move away in January.
The 26-year-old was tracked by several top clubs in the summer, including Arsenal, Internazionale and Roma, but Chievo managed to ward off the interest.
Chievo have now reiterated that he will not be going anywhere when the transfer window reopens, as the speculation starts to resurface.
Semioli, who is contracted to Chievo for another five years, is one of the club's most prized assets and they are determined to keep hold of him.
"Mr Franco Semioli is contracted to Chievo until 2011," read a statement on the club's official website.
"For this reason, AC Chievo Verona can confirm the contents of his contract and underline the player is absolutely not for sale."
