Siena coach Luigi De Canio has hailed the recent impact of Massimo Maccarone.The striker, on loan at the Tuscan outfit from Middlesbrough, has come off the bench to score twice in his last two appearances.
Now it seems De Canio is ready to give Maccarone more of a chance in the coming weeks.
Maccarone has overcome fitness problems which dogged his stay at Parma earlier this season.
"I'm happy he has recovered and we have him," said De Canio.
"He's a player who has been ready when he has been called.
"For a team like us this is a really important thing."
