Atalanta midfielder Tiberio Guarente has insisted he knows nothing of speculation linking him with a move to Fiorentina.
Atalanta are currently struggling towards the bottom of the Serie A table and rumours have suggested they could be set to lose one of their key players in the January transfer window.
24-year-old Guarente, however, has dismissed the transfer talk and is focusing solely on trying to help his club out of trouble.
"I don't read the newspapers," he told Novantesimo.it. "The only thing that I can say is that I have a five-year contract with Atalanta.
"As for my form, I can do better. It is not the best, but I have taken note of it, and want to do better going forward.
"This is an important thing for me, especially for my development."
