Milan silence stars

MILAN coach Carlo Ancelotti banned his players from giving interviews after their training session at Giuseppe Meazza on Monday to underline his side's concentration for their forthcoming match with Internazionale in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The San Siro giants take on each other in the first leg of their semi-final and Ancelotti left the task of talking to the waiting media to assistant coach Mauro Tassotti.

"It will be a really strange and heavy match for everyone, from players to supporters," Tassotti told the Milan channel.

"It will be difficult. I don't think Inter will enter the match thinking back to the two championship derby matches they lost this season."

The Rossoneri welcome back midfield stars Andrea Pirlo and Serginho for the clash but Tassotti did not confirm they would be involved in the match.

"Their condition still has to be considered," added Tassotti.

"I am optimistic though, we are still engaged in three competitions and we have reached May with perfect fitness conditions."
