Robinho is happy to have arrived in Milan, but his move hinges on Marco Borriello leaving the club.

City forward's move hinges on Borriello leaving

Robinho has expressed his happiness at arriving at AC Milan as he waits to complete a move from Manchester City before the close of the transfer window. Milan have lined up a deal for Robinho, but will only sign the Brazilian if Marco Borriello leaves the San Siro before the 6pm deadline. Ahead of undergoing a medical, Robinho confirmed he is looking forward to joining the Rossoneri, but has not spoken to compatriots Alexandre Pato and Ronaldinho regarding life in Milan. "I'm really happy to be here," the 26-year-old told Sky Italia. "I hope to have success at Milan. "Milan are an important side and I hope I will be able to show my worth on the pitch. "I want to win the scudetto. I haven't spoken with Pato and Dinho, but I'm really happy to be here." Robinho must now wait for Milan to offload Borriello before securing his exit from City, who he joined from Real Madrid two years ago. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Santos and has not featured for City since returning to the Premier League club earlier this month. Borriello, meanwhile, has so far rejected a move to Juventus as he is only interested in leaving Milan on a permanent basis. Milan had agreed a season-long loan with a view to a permanent arrangement with Juve and will hope to come to an agreement with Borriello to enable Robinho to join Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a new signing.
