Inter supremo looking to retain Brazilian ace

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is hoping the club can fend off interest from Paris Saint Germain and retain Thiago Motta. The big-spending Ligue 1 club have been heavily linked with the Brazil-born Italy international, who is contracted to Inter until the summer of 2013. Motta's agent has previously stated his client would see out his deal at Giuseppe Meazza, but that has failed to quell the speculation.

"Thiago Motta? He's one of our most important players," said Moratti. "This makes him non-transferable. We hope he won't leave." When questioned regarding the latest on the Carlos Tevez saga, Moratti replied: "Where will Tevez go? That's a difficult question."
