Seba wants Scudetto

Juan Veron believes now is the time for Internazionale to win the title.

With the 2005/06 campaign just around the corner, Internazionale's Juan Sebastian Veron is targeting two important personal goals for the coming season.

The ex-Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder stated his burning ambition to win this season's Italian title with Internazionale, before joining up with the Argentina squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Veron has experienced a new lease of life since leaving England to play for Internazionale, and the Argentine feels that now is the time to repay the club by bringing home the title.

"It's the moment for Inter to win the Scudetto," said Veron. "We won the Italian Cup this year and that was important but our objective is the Scudetto.

"I hope to have a good performance at Inter in the next season so that maybe I can get the chance to be recalled to the national team. I think that I am at a good level and that should take me back to the national team.

"I would like to be able to know what is going to happen in the future so I get calm about it. I miss being in the national team.

"I want to play the World Cup but it doesn't only depend on me, the coach is the person in charge and he will decide. If I repeat a good season at Inter then I am sure that I will have a new chance."
