BRESCIA TRIO SUSPENDED

THE Italian FA have suspended Brescia trio Dario Hubner, Antonio Filippini and Filippo Galli in a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.

Filippini has been suspended for two matches and was also fined £1000 for violent conduct in the final Serie A game of 2000 against Lecce, with the other two missing one games.

Brescia coach Carlo Mazzone is worried about missing three key players for the game against Bologna, with Roberto Baggio still injured, meaning that Kubilay Turkyilmaz and Francesco Marino will come in.

Lecce midfielder Luigi Piangerelli has also received a two-match ban for his part in the clash with Filippini.

Other players to be suspended for one game are Juventus' Edgar Davids (pictured), Lazio defender Alessandro Nesta, Ivan Cordoba of Internazionale and Perugia's Claudio Rivalta.
