Inter Milan have beaten the transfer deadline to sign Juto Nagatomo on loan from Cesena until the end of the season, with Davide Santon moving in the opposite direction. The Nerazzurri have made no secret of their desire to bring in a new left-back and have been linked with a number of players, including Tottenham's Gareth Bale. Nagatomo was also identified as a possible target after a series of sparkling performances in an otherwise disappointing campaign for relegation-threatened Cesena. And the 24-year-old has now sealed a six-month move to the reigning European champions. Nagatomo, who only joined promoted Cesena from FC Tokyo at the start of the season, played in Japan's 1-0 Asian Cup final triumph over Australia on Saturday.
