Amauri injured in Bologna draw

Juventus manager Luigi Del Neri claims his side's 0-0 draw against Bologna was a 'step forwards'. Juve were held to a goalless stalemate at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara and stay fifth in Serie A, while Bologna move to 16th. The Old Lady were awarded a penalty in the first half after Milos Krasic went down in the box, but Vincenzo Iaquinta failed to take his chance from the spot. Del Neri told Sky Italia: "I'm really satisfied with what we have done today. "It's a step forward. I've seen my side not suffering so much and keeping the ball a lot, even if we have not finished. "I'm satisfied also to have seen certain things in the midfield and in defence. "The penalty? TV images show there hasn't been contact, but I don't think Krasic fell voluntarily." Bologna boss Alberto Malesani added: "The Juventus penalty? I saw immediately it wasn't right." Meanwhile, Juve striker Carvalho Amauri suffered an Achilles injury during the game and had to be substituted after 20 minutes. Amauri will have scans on the problem on Monday, which is thought to be a repeat of the injury sustained against Cagliari, and then the full extent of the damage will be known.
