Roma defender Marco Cassetti has penned a new one-year contract with the Serie A club to keep him at the Stadio Olimpico until June 2011.
The 33-year-old full-back made 34 outings in all tournaments last season as the Italian outfit finished as runners-up to Inter Milan in both the Serie A standings and the Coppa Italia.
Cassetti, who joined Roma in 2006 from Lecce, says he is thrilled to continue playing for Claudio Ranieri's side.
"I'm happy and I thank the club for the opportunity to continue my relationship with Rome," said Cassetti.
"I'm sure we can continue the great results again next season and I hope to repay the confidence the club has shown towards me."
