Fiorentina striker not ready to retire

Fiorentina striker Cristian Vieri is determined to play on next season but is not sure whether his future lies with Viola. The veteran Italian, who will be 35 in July, has had limited opportunities to impress this season and has often had to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench. He has also had injury problems throughout his career but he insists he is not yet ready to retire. "I'll continue until my body does not let me," Vieri told Sky Italia. "I have a big will and I will see how good I feel. I have undergone two surgeries to my knee but it is responding positively." "This season I have been able to train every day." Vieri is keen to stay with Fiorentina but would also be interested in playing in a different country. "The future? I'm evaluating a few options. "If I am still in Italy I'd like to take my goal tally to 150, only 11 are missing me. Otherwise I'll go abroad."
