The Italian Football Federation has dropped a potential doping case against Roma forward Francesco Totti.

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has dropped a potential doping case against Roma forward Francesco Totti. According to reports in Italy, Totti was late for a routine test on 13th May 2007. Under the rules, anti-doping authorities had to investigate the matter. However, the case has now been archived following reports that Totti was attending the birth of his second child. The Federal Court of Justice agreed to archive the case after a request from the Italian Olympic Committee's anti-doping unit.
