Villarreal's distinctly average season continued at El Madrigal, as Deportivo La Coruna claimed a 2-0 win.
El Submarino Amarillo went behind, as Marcos Senna put through his own net on 20 minutes, and the win was sealed just 11 minutes from time when Joan Verdu pounced.
