Midfielder set to disappoint Everton, Villa & QPR

Real Madrid's Sergio Canales has admitted he is reluctant to move to the English Premier League preferring to stay in La Liga for next season. English trio Everton, Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers have all been linked with midfielder Canales but the 20-year-old does not fancy a move abroad. "I would prefer to stay in Spain," Canales said in As. "I want to get as many minutes as possible and if it isn't at Real Madrid it will be with another club." Madrid signed Canales for €6million from Racing Santander last summer prior to Jose Mourinho's arrival at Real and the Portuguese manager gave Canales just ten games in his maiden season. Canales, contracted until June 2016, has expressed his frustration at not playing much and both Villarreal and Sevilla have been linked with loan moves, although Real are reluctant to loan the midfielder to one of their league rivals.
