High-flying Levante are to offer a new contract to midfielder Jofre.
The 24-year-old's current deal expires at the end of the campaign, and the Valencia-based outfit are keen to retain his services.
They have offered the former Barcelona youth player a one-year extension, and his agent Ramon Arasa is expected to conclude an agreement early next week.
Jofre was a key member of the Levante side which won promotion last term, but has struggled to force his way into Bernd Schuster's side this term.
Nevertheless, the club see him as a player with a lot of potential and want to tie him to a new deal - especially with his contract coming to an end.
