Ernesto Valverde will stay on as Athletic Bilbao head coach next season after signing a one-year contract extension.
The club have confirmed the 51-year-old has put pen to paper on a new deal until June 2016.
Valverde is in his third spell in charge of Athletic after taking over as head coach in the summer of 2013.
He led the club to Champions League qualification last season and this year is on course to qualify for the Europa League.
The Basque side finish their league campaign at home to Villarreal on Saturday evening, knowing a win would be enough to secure seventh place.
Athletic will also be looking to derail Barcelona’s treble bid when they face them in the Copa del Rey final on May 30.
