Manchester City are hot on the trail of Getafe midfielder Abdel Barrada, according to the player's agent.
The Moroccan international, 23, is thought to have attracted a host of suitors after an impressive debut campaign for the Madrid-based club last season.
The former Paris Saint-Germain youngster is contracted with Getafe until 2016 and his representative Jesus Mesas insists no decision will be made on Barrada's future until next summer.
"It's true Manchester City are following Abdel," he said. "They have a fixed scout in La Liga each weekend to watch several games.
"But it is too early to make a decision on a possible transfer. We will have to wait until the season ends."
Barrada scored four goals in 25 appearances for Getafe last season after being promoted from their B team.
