Stephane Dalmat has signed a five-year deal with Spanish side Racing Santander.The 26-year-old spent last season back in France on loan at Toulouse from Internazionale, but has now finally left the Italian side.
French midfielder Dalmat joined Inter from PSG back in 2001 and was a promising talent in the middle of the park.
However, after failing to nail down a regular start in Serie A, Dalmat joined Tottenham in the summer of 2003 and was largely impressive at White Hart Lane.
Dalmat again had problems though and was sent back to Inter ahead of schedule by David Pleat after a training ground incident.
The former Chateauroux man will now try his luck in Spain after agreeing to join Racing and signing a five-year deal.
Dalmat has taken a big pay cut to move to La Liga, and will be trying to help racing finish higher up the table than their 16th place last term.
