Atletico Madrid are set to sign Turkey midfielder Arda Turan from Galatasaray in a deal worth around 12million euros.
The 24-year-old will undergo a medical on Friday, and if he passes successfully, will sign a four-year contract with the club.
During his tenure with Galatasaray, he has won two league titles since making his debut in 2004, and notched 45 goals in 184 appearances.
Turan starred for Turkey during Euro 2008 and scored two goals during the tournament that helped them reach the semi-finals.
At international level, he has a record of nine goals in 45 appearances for his country.
