Defender Luis Perea is confident that Atletico Madrid can go to Turkey and beat Galatasaray in the second leg of their Europa League tie on Thursday despite being held at home in the opening match.
The Colombian centre-back thinks that Los Colchoneros' strikers Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero will prove to be decisive and they will have to score at least once in the Ali Sami Yen stadium.
Atletico lost to Almeria at the weekend in the Primera Liga, having beaten Barcelona seven days before, but Perea thinks that the side will find their feet again in Europe.
"It is a game that we are convinced that we can win," he explained.
"We are improving all the time and we want to translate that into better results.
"I think the tie is very even but the quality that we have going forward should mean that we make it through to the next round.
"To do that though we will need to be at 100 per cent for the entire 90 minutes."
The first match between Atletico and Gala ended 1-1 after Kader Keita cancelled out Jose Antonio Reyes' first-half opener, and Perea hopes his team will have more luck in front of goal in the return leg.
"Unfortunately in the first game we could not win, but I did think that the draw was a fair result. We did create more chances to win though," he continued.
"Hopefully we will enjoy more luck in the second leg and be able to go through."
