Real Betis' Juanito has been forced to pull out of the Spanish squad through injury leading to Pablo Ibanez landing his first international call-up.The central defender has suffered a thigh problem and will be sidelined for a week ruling him out of their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Belgium and Lithuania.
Coach Luis Aragones has decided to call on Ibanez, who is having a tremendous season with Atletico Madrid - following his summer move from Albacete.
Ibanez's form has seen the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool all register an interest.
