Munoz agrees new deal

Real Zaragoza boss Victor Munoz has agreed a new two-year deal at the club.

Real Zaragoza boss Victor Munoz has agreed a new two-year deal at the club.

Munoz has done an impressive job at La Romareda since taking over in 2003.

He helped guide Zaragoza to Copa Del Rey success in 2004 with a dramatic win over Real Madrid and also into the Uefa Cup this season.

Zaragoza president Alfonso Solans believes the club is heading in the right direction under Munoz.

"The club has decided to continue with Victor because we have confidence in his work," said Solans.

Meanwhile, Zaragoza are reported to have struck a deal with Real Madrid's number two goalkeeper Cesar.

The 33-year-old had been linked with Liverpool, but Cesar looks to have decided to stay in England.
