With nine games remaining, the La Liga title race is still too close to call.
Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are tied at the top of the table, with Sunday’s El Clasico winners Barcelona just one point back.
That means the final nine fixtures of the season will be decisive and on Tuesday’s Revista de La Liga the panel examined the remaining opponents for Spain’s leading trio – and concluded all three face stern tests of their title credentials.
Terry Gibson picked out Real’s Wednesday night Sky Live trip to in-form Sevilla, who have won their last five, as a stiff challenge, while Guillem Balague expects Espanyol to make Barcelona’s life very difficult when they meet in the Catalan derby on Saturday – another contest you can watch on Sky Sports.
Atletico’s trip to Athletic Bilbao could be another banana skin, while the panel also agreed the Champions League quarter-final ties between Barcelona and Los Rojiblancos will impact on both sides’ title tilt.
