Wing-back's new deal includes £130million buy-out clause
Barcelona have confirmed that Dani Alves has signed a new four-year contract at Camp Nou.
It was announced on Tuesday night that an agreement had been reached and the Brazil wing-back has now put pen to paper.
There had been speculation that Alves' future was uncertain following Barcelona's reported interest in Tottenham's Gareth Bale.
But Barcelona's determination to include a €150million (£130m) buy-out clause gives an indication of the 27-year-old's value to Pep Guardiola.
Former Sevilla star Alves' buy-out clause will decrease in value by €25m (£22m) per season to be worth €50m (£43m) in the final year of the deal.
Alves, who is in the Brazil squad for Sunday's friendly against Scotland in London, returned to Barcelona to sign the contract.
