Reports from the Spanish press claim that representatives of the five-time Bundesliga champions have watched Navarro on three separate occasions and have spoken to both the player and representatives of the Catalan club.
The Foals are keen to conclude a loan deal for Navarro, but face stiff competition from Liga side Zaragoza.
Navarro will consider himself unfortunate to be surplus to requirements at Camp Nou after beginning last season as a first team regular.
