Barca are believed to have identified Andrade as one of their key signings as they attempt to recapture past-glories.
However, Porto will battle to keep hold of the 23-year-old defender, who is viewed as one of the hottest properties in Portuguese football.
Andrade has already established himself as a full international, and there were suggestions that Barcelona were prepared to tempt Porto with Simao, another Portuguese starlet.
However, Dragons supremo Pinto da Costa was quick to rule out this possibility saying: "FC Porto is not interested in Simao, because we have Capucho and Candido Costa in the same position.
"How could we ask Barcelona to pay £13 million, when we haven't accepted talks from any other club?"
