Barcelona were on the receiving end of two nasty Tomas Pina tackles during their Copa del Ray win over Villarreal.

Barcelona made it through to the Copa del Rey final on Wednesday night with a 3-1 win at Villarreal, but worryingly lost Sergio Busquets to injury after a nasty tackle by Tomas Pina.

Pina was eventually sent off in the second half for a separate two-footed lunge on Neymar, but this time the Barcelona man remained on the pitch, scoring the third goal.

Busquets was carried off on a stretcher on 41 mintues after being on the receiving end of Pina’s studs as he attempted to block a pass, and will undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury.

And on 65 minutes Pina was given his marching orders on a night to forget for the 27-year-old Spaniard.

Barcelona won 6-2 on aggregate after the same scoreline in the first leg, and will face Athletic Bilbao in the final.
