Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has said that he wants to make La Liga more competitive.
The Blaugrana and Real Madrid are by far the two biggest clubs in Spain and are the two frontrunners for the league title every season.
Rosell wants the Spanish first division to break out of this duopoly so that other teams can compete with them for the title.

"No, no it's something I fully agree with," said Rosell to
Reuters when asked if it would not be better to follow the Premier League model in which three or four teams fight for the title every season.
"We have to sit down with the Spanish teams and look for solutions on that yes, I agree."
Clubs in Spain negotiate TV deals individually, unlike in the Premier League where the rights are sold collectively.
This means that Barca and Real end up pocketing around half of the total revenue generated from TV deals, something that Rosell admits needs looking into.
TV income
"This is exactly one of the things we have to discuss with the rest of the clubs," he said when asked about the television revenue issue.
"In fact we had some meetings in the past, last year, and as from 2014/15 we decided a new distribution of TV income for Spain," he added, without elaborating.
"So yes we are improving on that and probably in the future something will change."
