Real director says Mourinho will honour his contract

Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno fully expects Jose Mourinho to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu for at least another two years. The Portuguese has been linked with a return to the Premier League in the summer with Tottenham reportedly his likely destination should Harry Redknapp take the England job. The self-titled 'Special One' has made clear his desire to move back to England and the Premier League and has even been photographed in London in recent months. But Spain legend Butragueno, nicknamed El Buitre (The Vulture), is hopeful that the 49-year-old Mourinho will honour his contract.

Future

He told The Sun: "Mourinho is under contract for two more years so there is no question for us. He started the project last season, this is his second season and the performance of the team, in my opinion, is very good. "There is no deviation within the club. We are still happy and very satisfied with him. "He is one of the best coaches in the world and we are very excited about what the future has in store with us. We are very happy he is our coach."
