Striker set to snub English and Italian interest to return home

Sevilla's Brazil international striker Luis Fabiano has revealed that he has his heart set on a return to his homeland rather than continuing his career in Europe. The 30-year-old has a contract with Sevilla until June 2013 but has publicly declared his desire to leave and Inter Milan, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with his signature. Fabiano has been at Sevilla since 2005 and admits he would prefer to see out the final years of his career in his native Brazil with old club Sao Paulo his first choice. "Brazilian football is taking huge leaps forward and a lot of players are returning there," Fabiano said in GloboEsporte. "In three years we will have the World Cup and it will be fantastic. It is the ideal moment to return. "I would like to continue my adventure at Sao Paulo. I was top goalscorer there and it would be nice (to go back), but Brazil has lots of other good clubs such as Flamego, Fluminese and Internacional."
