Espanyol keeper Carlos Kameni is waiting for the club to offer him a new contract.
The Cameroon international's current deal expires at the end of the season and he has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Kameni pledged to spend this season with Espanyol and has previously suggested he is open to accepting an extension.
However, he fears the club have not made discussing a new deal a priority and is unsure if he is still wanted by Espanyol beyond this season.
"The decision corresponds to the club," Kameni told the Catalan media.
"I wait for news to know if they are interested or not in continuing with me.
"I believe that we have missed the time to negotiate a new deal, but the directors said that my subject is not a priority.
"Now, my mission is to work and to help my team-mates on the pitch."
