Rohr hopes loans become permanent

NICE boss Gernot Rohr is hoping to make several of his loan signings permanent for the Municipal du Ray side next season.

Rohr has had talks with several loanees about extending their stays and remains confident that the high-flyers can add to their squad for next season.

"They all want to stay," said Rohr.

"All of them are aware of our budget constraints and accept them."

Jaques Abardonado and Damien Gregorini from Marseille, Yoann Bigne of Rennes and Kaba Diawara of Paris Saint Germain are all on Nice's books at present and Rohr hopes they will extend their stay for longer.

One player Rohr can definitely count on for next season is Eric Roy (pictured) who has signed a one-year extension to delay his retirement and in-demand midfielder Romain Pitau has also expressed his desire to remain at the club.
