Sporting Lisbon have snapped up Paris Saint Germain striker Carlos Bueno.The Uruguayan forward has joined Sporting on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent move.
PSG were willing to let Bueno leave after he failed to establish himself at the Parc Des Princes.
Bueno was happy to make the move to Portugal after an unhappy time in Paris.
"My objective is to play and progress in my career," said Bueno.
"I believe that I will adapt to Portuguese football better than French.
"The option of Champions League is wonderful and that played a part in my decision."
