VfB Stuttgart have made Danijel Ljuboja's stay at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion permanent.The 27-year-old Serbian striker joined the Schwaben on loan from Paris Saint Germain at the start of the current season and has made a good impression in the Bundesliga despite Stuttgart's disappointing run of form.
Ljuboja's six goals and two assists in 24 Bundesliga appearances have proved enough for VfB bosses to take up their option on the player on the April 30 deadline.
He is now contracted to Stuttgart until June 2009. No details as to the fee involved have been revealed.
The move allows Ljuboja to focus his attentions on this summer's World Cup finals with Serbia & Montenegro.
