PSG to make fresh Camara bid

PSG are preparing to step up their attempts to sign Zoumana Camara.

Paris Saint Germain are preparing to step up their attempts to sign St Etienne defender Zoumana Camara.

The 28-year-old, who has three years remaining on his contract with Les Verts, is keen on a move to the Parc des Princes.

Paul Le Guen has so far failed with a number of bids for Camara, including a ‚é¼5million (£3.4million) offer tabled most recently.

St Etienne are holding out for ‚é¼6million (£4million) and PSG are expected to make a new offer in the coming days.

PSG are also in talks with Rennes to sign defender Gregory Bourillon after the 23-year-old refused the offer of a new contract.

Le Guen insists he is in no rush to wrap up the two signings and will move on to other options if deals cannot be struck for the pair.

"There is no time limit to complete our reinforcements with players like Zoumana Camara or Gregory Bourillon," he told the French press.

"I am not upset by the situation. There is no reason to rush. If we can't make it with those players, we will find other ones."
