Hertha Berlin are reportedly keen to land the services of Christian Gimenez on a permanent deal.The Argentinian forward has been on loan at Hertha following a disappointing start to the season with Marseille.
Gimenez has scored eight goals at the Bundesliga club and has impressed officials.
Hertha are interested in offering him a contract until June 2009 and must take up the option of landing him on a permanent basis before 15th April.
